Blackened oak beams, crested banners, long tables. This is where the Welcome Feast happens.
Crested china, and banners hanging the length of it. A procession of food, the founding legend recited by the head girl, the school song sung by the whole school, and, hidden in the pudding, the Star of Promise. Do not miss the pudding.
