St Elowen’s Lumen servamus
B

Beth

First Form, Elm

Blunt, steady, and detail-minded, and the moral compass of the whole dormitory. When the others talk themselves into something, it is Beth who says the plain, unwelcome, correct thing, and means it.

She loves
A rule that makes sense. Fair dealing. Knowing where she stands.
She fears
Cleverness used to make a wrong thing sound right.

What she is not telling you

Hers is the line the others remember for years: it isn't courage to do wrong. She is right, and being the one who is always right is lonelier than it looks.
