Cheeky, inventive, and quietly certain of herself. Poppy is the navigator: the one who works out the way, through the maze of the house, through the Pinetum, and through trouble, usually while the others are still arguing about it.

- A problem with a way through it. Being the one who finds the door.
- She fears
- Being still. Being told there is nothing to be done.
What she is not telling you
Her confidence is real, but she uses cleverness the way some girls use a shield, and she has not yet been asked what it is she is guarding.
