Verity

Upper Fourth, Oak

Verity went to France, for a reason nobody has explained, and came back changed.

That is all we are able to tell you, and it is all we are willing to tell you, and the two happen, for once, to be the same thing. Her story is not finished, and it is not ours to finish. It is being kept, carefully, for a book that is still being written, by the one person with the right to write it.

So we will not caricature her, and we will not resolve her, and we will not close the door she walked through. We will only say that people are very rarely finished at the point you decide they are, and that this is as true of the girls you dislike as of the girls you love.

Wait for her. She is worth waiting for.
